I have a 1993 Camry LE Japanese V6 with 188,000 miles on it. The car has been flawless to date, but lately when the car is running hot, the auxillary fan is running very loud, drowning out the engine when accelerating. Do these fans wear out, and need replacing? The fan runs and keeps the car at operating temperature, but the loudness of the fan is very annoying especially when accelerating or at street/highway speeds. I would appreciate some advise on what anyone recommends.
