Default power seat doesn't move forward

My power seat in my 97 Camry driver'side is not working as far as moving forward...I can hear the motor running but the seat doesn't move..Do I have to replace the whole track with the electric motors? or is there a simple fix?

If the motor is working but the seat does not move the gear motor or seat track might be stripped. Guessing the gear on the motor is stripped at it may be plastic.

The seat is held in place by only four bolts, one at each end of the two tracks. These may be hidden by a plastic cover the pops off. The seat wiring harness will unplug. You can remove the seat to take a look.

The forward/reverse motor is the one closest to the dashboard.

"take a look"?

How do you access the stripped gear hidden inside the metal track?
