Default Warning!! when using Monroe Quick Struts on Gen 4 Camry

This is a warning to anyone who has or will be installing Monroe Quick Struts on the front of a 97' to 01 Camry. The torque as specified by Monroe in their included installation note for the top bearing plate is wrong. The correct torque for the studs they use is 29 FtLbs and not the 59 FtLbs that they list. Toyota specs 59 FtLbs but their studs are a higher grade. I know of several cases where people have stripped the studs at around 50 FtLbs of torque. The rears are listed at 29 FtLbs which is right. Over torqueing is not safe !!!
