1998 Toyota Camry Antenna location
I just purchased a 98 Camry Le. The radio reception is not very good. Radio does not pick up a lot of radio stations only very strong ones.
The antenna is not visible form the outside. Any one know where is the Antenna located? Or what else I should check to increase the reception. The antenna is connected to the back of the factory radio.

In response to your question, the antenna is located on your rear windshield. It is integrated and looks exactly like the defroster lines. If they were scratched and broken, your reception will suffer. Same if any part of the antenna connection/cable was severed. The reception was ok in my car as well...could have been better once i compared it to other cars we've had.

there are some radio that really having hard time to get signal even with antenna. I bought a radio before that has similar problem and return to the store and immediately replace it... I didn't do any technical repairs I may not get it back and ask for replacement.
