I have no idea either.
I will monitor that post and member to make sure it is not a spammer.
Maybe it was just a mistake...

The information may help for you... your problem is EGR flow so you have a rebuilt engine with less than 1000 miles. It was running great than I started getting.

wow! sorry to hear it.
I'd rather call local dealer in order to solve this issue. The list is on official toyota website or here, sorted by states All about Toyota cars and trucks - mostly about Toyota

Exclamation EGR FLOW INSUFFICIENT 1999 Camry 2.2 AUTOMATIC

P0401 EGR FLOW INSUFFICIENT
1999 Camry 2.2 LE AUTOMATIC
After replacing the air intake manifold (plastic piece after air filter) EGR P0401 code because CEL came on. Modulator replaced first since it was warrantied, 2nd was the EGR pressure switch located between firewall and engine, 3rd was the EGR valve itself along with all vacuum lines existing within this system. Drove 100 plus miles hoping it would teach the new parts and go off to no avail. I then reset the codes with my OBD tester, 10 miles later same code no other code no cylinder misses. Recently after manifold replacement was timing belt replacement kit and Valve gasket replaced.
Any ideas or other systems that are related that might cause this code?
