Default my car got a little boo boo

i was driving through cheney ,it's a small collage town, and stopped at a red light,no problems so far, the light turned green but taffic wasn't moving yet so i waited, like a responsible driver, unfortunatly the lady behind me wasn't paying attention and hit me going about 10 to 15 miles per hour. all it did to my car was push the back bumper in a bit and bend my brand new license plate. the only injuries was my wife trapazoide muscles were tweeked so her neck and back is sore. the car still runs and drives fine and i got her insurance info that the police gave me. lesson here is PAY ATTENTION WHEN YOU DRIVE. NO TEXTING. PERCENT EYES ON THE ROAD.!!!! i hope the insurance company doesn't total my car for this i live 30 miles from town damn .

This happens more often then one thinks.

One suggestion from experience is to attend to your wife's complaints before agreeing to any settlement for injuries. People can and do suffer from whiplash and some have signed off on a settlement before finding the condition is not short term.

well we heard from the insurance company and my wife signed off on her part. they paid all her medical plus 10 visits to the pt people and she got 1500. they paid for my doctors visits and gave me 1000 to fix the car . my wife got 1500 for pain and suffering. so i guess her neck and back didn't hurt as much as she thought because she is the one who set up the meeting .

That stinks. At least you were able to get a quick and easy settlement from the insurance company. It is not always that quick.
