Just bought a Camry the other day as a rainy day commuter. On the way home from the P.O's house the headlight switch fried so now I have no low beams. There's a brown, sticky substance in the connector and all over the inside of the steering column that I think is soda.

So, if anyone has the switch and harness with a few inches of wire I'd be very grateful. You can reply here or PM me with what you have and price. Would like this to happen ASAP since my only other transportation is a motorcycle.

The switch is available aftermarket or try a salvage yard.

If you can access the internals of the switch spray CRC electrical contact cleaner (or other brand) into the switch via the provided narrow plastic tube and flush out the soda. The switch contacts may be dirty. Don't use WD-40.

 

why not WD-40 I heard it's good?
