I have a 99 Camry that had a dealer installed rear spoiler. The 3rd brake light up in the rear window was unhooked, but it's still there. I know that the factory spoiler cars had a solid block-off plate in place of the rear window light. I need one for my car, and it needs to be gray in color. I have attached a picture of one that I saw in a car that was in a parking lot.

 

I've never seen one of those. I did a quick look around on the inter-web and didn't come up with anything. I think you could pretty easily make one with some light wood and a little paint. You could also just remove it and cover the holes with something clever.

 

Thanks, I may try that. Just trying to make the car look factory correct. A friend of mine at a dealership did some checking, and can get me the part, but it's over $100. More than I can afford for a piece of plastic.

 

Ouch, I think I would disconnect the light and make the cover. For a $100, I would try to make one first.

 

I have located a few of these covers, so if anyone wants one get in touch with me for further information. I have them in gray and dark tan. They should fit and be correct for 1997-2000.
