My Wife's headlights are dim. She has to drive with the foglights on. I heard that installing either HID or LED can fix this for now w/o buying new lenses.
Thought or suggestions are appreciated.

 

Are the lights dim or the lens clouded or yellow? Have you checked for proper voltage at the socket and checked for corrosion on the electrical contacts?

The lights design/projection system seems to be the issue.

If you don't want new lenses try the bulb retro fit by Rar-Car in the link below. Others have done this with good results.
