Hi everyone, I have a Gen5 4 cylinder camry and I'm looking to convert my rear drums to disc brakes and possibly beefing up my front brakes also. Although it's only a 4 cylinder the stock brakes feel like they're lacking in stopping power. I'm wondering if anyone has already tried this and suggestions for good quality kits and cost. My car is pretty much bone stock except for the new ceramic pads I installed last weekend, and I've never done any major modifications to a car before so this is a first for me. My friend tells me it's a relatively easy project, about a day's work, so I'm just looking for additional advice before I potentially butcher my car. Any suggestionsare appreciated, thanks!

 

yeh it is a basic modd i also went to me brake and clutch shop in town and asked them about it and they told me it would be alot cleaper if i was to goto a wreckers and get the rear brake setup of a V6 verson of the car coz its a straite bolt off bolt on item so there u go thats my 2 cents worth hope that helps
