98 Camry low to the ground
I have a used 98 Camry that I purchased last year (I'm the 2nd owner). I love the car, but the only problem that I am having with it is that whenever I have other people in it and drive over a speed bump or into my driveway (which is uphill) the bottom of the car drags. Should I put a lift kit on it, replace the coil springs, or even the shocks? I am afraid of damaging the undercarriage and end up spending more for repairs than what it would cost to solve the problem.

Lift kits may cause other problems.
Look under the car for any obvious problems such as the exhaust pipe hanging down.
Load the car down with passengers and determine if the rear is now sagging due to weak strut springs.

When I had a 97 it had the same problem. It would sag and bottom out very easily. I would suggest taking a look to make sure there is nothing unusual hanging underneath the car.
If everything looks fine, I'd replace the shocks/springs.
