Default Vibration issue-'98 Camry LE

Hola!

98 camry LE 2.2. The car's had a vibration issue between 50-60 MPH. Recently got an alignment, balanced, and 4 brand new tires and the problem has not gone away. Could it be wheel bearings? Any thoughts would be appreciated, as I'm not sure where to start with this...

Wheel bearings tend to make a growl or roar at lower speeds that blends into the road noise about 30 mph.

Is the vibration still present, worse, better when coasting, accelerating, etc?

It seems to alleviate while accelerating, but the vibration doesn't go away. It's really bad from 50-53ish, and gets better until about 60 where it dissapears.

What happens when you slow down from 65 to 55?

Check the rims for damage or wobble.

A bad inner CV joint can cause vibration.

From 65 to 60, it's okay. Going all the way down and remaining at 55 will cause a vibration. I'll check those things-thanks.

And researching how to do a CV joint doesn't look to fun to attemt on your own. I have a friend who has a shop and we'll have to look at it there.
