Suggest buying a dealer or OEM manufacturer belt, some of the aftermarket brands can make noise as in a belt whine. (in reply to vin888) Post #: 2

RE: how many miles do you change your T.belt? - 2/15/2008 6:50:20 PM    toyomoho   Posts: 828 Joined: 1/24/2008 Status: offline Water pump and tensioner are usually good for 2 belt changes.  Inspect all items for rough bearings and the WP for leakage.  Also check the cam, crank and oil pump seals for leakage.
