Minor 98 Camry Transmission Problem - 2/29/2008 8:43:12 PM    bossofdakross   Posts: 6 Joined: 2/29/2008 Status: offline So here's the thing, when my car hits fourth gear and I'm cruising at about 50+ mph, I let go of the accelarator to slow down and so my rpm begins to come down, and when it reaches about 1.4 or 1.6 rpm it shoots back up about 0.2 rpms and sometimes even more (note: i do not accelarate once i let go of the accelarator). Anyone ever come across this problem before? Or anyone know what's wrong with the transmission? It's a 4 cylinder and I recently had my ATF changed out but it still happens. Post #: 1
