Gday , has anyone done any mods to their 1MZFE air intake, there doesnt appear to be anything available , is there a reason in regards to fear of being lean???? Or do you have to up the fuel pressure???? I would like some more throat noise from mine and of couse a pan filter you dont get to look at, Yeah the boyracer is still in me hehehe.
Anyway what are your thoughts

besides purchasing a cold air intake or short ram intake (carb legal ones are costly and rare), you can just put in a K&N filter and remove the resonator box from the driver side front fender/bumper area.
The resonator will be a big clear container hanging down from the intake hose. I think i had to remove the black fender wheel welll cover to expose it and remove it. I may have had to also remove the front headlight, but i dont remember. Overall not a big difference in terms of sound and fuel economy and power. but i mean thats one of the most harmless things you can do to your vehicle.
