Hey all, new here. I just picked up my camry a few days ago...I actually haven't even officially taken delivery. I sell Toyotas, so I can take my sweet time. My story... I've always been a fan of anything small and fast. Had a pair of Miatas, Turbocharged, fully built 02 SVT Focus, Mazda 323 GTX with so much done to it, its silly. Few others here and there. had an 04 Miata, bought it one year ago...one month after, we found out my wife was pregnant (finally got it right). My daughter is two months old, and I decided to trade in my toy for something we could all enjoy. i knew I wanted an SE V6, and since i sold em, it only seemed right. I am going to mod the car to my liking; Intake, exhaust, 19" wheels, lower and I'll see where that has me... here's my old toy that I just got rid of... "Handled good" is an understatement...I know I'll never get that nimble rWD handling, but thats ok, a sporty family hauler isnt so bad. I'm 30 and we all eventually grow up! Can't wait to share the knowledge and shoot the sh*t with you...

The one i bought was an old-age unit. its been on the lot for >90 days. with the rebate, I walked away with the car for $1000 under invoice. an 09 would've been at std. employee pricing of $300 over. Plus, its exactly how I wanted...no leather, no nav. I toyed with the idea of going 09, but for $1300 cheaper, I got one that was just fine.

congrats on the purchase! love those wheels! with the stance of those wheels on your old miata, i'm guessing you're gonna go fairly aggressive with your camry setup. companies are barely coming out with aftermarket springs and coilovers for the camry (i.e. megan racing, trd, h&r). you shouldn't have a problem modding it to your liking just not sure if you can go aggressive as you'd want in terms of lower offsets/width on the wheels. quote:
