The only place to station my car was along the houses. When I just slot my car into the only space left, and was about to switch off my engine, a black Toyota Camry, SDJ 6613 S, came from the side and horned. Subsequently the gate of the house opened, and I supposed he (an elderly man) wanted to head into the house, hence I reversed slightly more to allow him space to go through. To my surprise, he continued to linger by the side of my car. Bemused, I came out and approached him. Upon asking whether my car was blocking him from entering his home, he replied, "No. But this is the lot along the road I always park. Every night. And this is my house. Move somewhere else." Now knowing the situation, I told him nicely, "anybody can park in this space, and its the only lot left. I'll be leaving in a while though." He winded up his window before I could finish my short sentence. Anyway, my friend and I proceeded to the park. 10 minutes later, when we headed back, I realised that he purposefully parked his car right in front of mine, leaving a space of only 3 to 4 cm, as can be seen in the picture above. I was furious. He could see my difficulty getting out of the lot, especially when the space behind was very little to play with. He did not offer to move his car but simply ignored the situation.
I had to make quite a number of attempts before being able to come out of the lot. And after that I had to make a detour to do a three point turn out of the lane as he parked so far out into the road that I couldn't turn directly out of the place.
