As I stated earlier, when I initially started the car, after a few minutes it looked like it was going to overheat...temp gauge was about 2/3 of the way up, so I just shut it off. I noticed the hose clamps were not working that well, and coolant was leaking from both the end that connects to the thermostat housing and the bottom of the radiator. After replacing these with the screw-type hose clamps, there seems to be no more leaking and the car has not overheated. I drove it to get gas last night, and test drove it for about 20+ minutes with no sign of overheating. The fans seem to be working properly, the lower radiator hose heats up after awhile, I tried squeezing the air out of the hoses, added coolant as needed, temp gauge stays around halfway.
