YOUR TAKE ON: MOD CHIPS - 4/12/2006 2:43:47 AM    OnE_To_HatE   Posts: 473 Joined: 11/9/2005 Status: offline we see 'em on eBAY ... and they're just pennies on a dollar for the HP claim they say. Good Idea or Bad Idea?... i really wanna try it but i don't wanna screw ish up in my car makin' it all confused w/the air temp and what not... lemme know.. i know some of you out there might also be thinkin' this. and some ov you out there also had experiences..soooo... respond away! RE: YOUR TAKE ON: MOD CHIPS - 2/7/2008 1:51:58 PM    hin nation   Posts: 11 Joined: 2/2/2008 Status: offline All it is is a 0.99 resistor inside a box that plugs into the air sensor harness and what it does is fool your ecu in thinking that there is cold air coming in all the time even if you are drawing in warm air or idoling at a stop light.
