yeah you don't want to do that, but i've been wondering the samething...how can i clean my engine bay with no water???

Remove easy access parts like the air intake, things like that. Wipe them down separately, its prolly a good idea to replace anything that needs replacing at that point, like filters. When everything easy is out, wipe what can be with a damp cloth, anything else with a dry cloth. Remember: 1)Disassemble 2)Clean and detail 3)Reassemble. Thats what I do. and it comes out fine.
