hello all, im new to the forums & im planning on dropping my car (1999 camry LE 4CYL)with either TEIN or EIBACH springs. does any have any suggestions or experiences with dropping camrys? please advise

are you getting new struts too? Tein H. Techs will give your camry an awesome stance, but let it be practical still. Tein S. Techs or Eibach springs will make it pretty low and you'll bottom out in a lot of places. Strut wise, KYB GR-2's are basically oem replacements and they'll keep the car feeling nice. But i'd go with Tokico Blue's or higher end struts to give it a stiffer feel for a more planted camry. I run H. Techs with GR-2. Too soft, but good ride height, rarely bottom out. Look under your car...see how low two rails (part of the frame) are? I get about a fist and a half to two fists (depending on size) under my car. So i have about 4 inch clearance on the lowest part of my car. If i have people and cargo that gets pretty low. Tokico blues or even stiffer struts would have done me better. Otherwise its a good setup. you can get coilovers if ur hardcore.
