Does anyone know if 20in rims with 40series tires will fit?  Or will a 19in rim with 45series tires fit?  All the websites say I have to use a 35series for a 20in rim, or a 40series tire with a 19in rim.

For 20's I would use a 35 profile and and 19's a 40 profile. I have 18's with 45 profile on my 07 SE V6.

Did you want to go with 45's, or did you 'have' to, would a 50series and 18in combo fit?  Do you have a pic of your SE?

20w/35 will fit on a stock suspension camry.
40 is iffy but probably ok with minimal rubbing that can happen.

I could have went with 50profile but I knew was putting TRD springs on.

As far as I know there aren't many 40 series tires in 20 in.  I just put 235/35 Nittos (only company that makes them in that size) on my SE and in the rear I wouldn't want to go any bigger.  I agree with you looking for 45 series or even 40 in 19.  Our stock ride height is kind of weird.  I had 18s with 45 series tires and there was still a lot of wheel gap.  The 20s with 35 series seem perfect.

Now 18s or 19s with springs very small gap. I just not a fan of 20s. Even without springs a 45 series the gap is just fine.

I had 18's before the 20's (Boss Motorsports 318s in Black Chrome) and had 225/45s and they just seemed small when looking from a distance.  Also, be careful with the lowering springs on an SE...the front end is lower than you think.  I had Eibach lowering springs on (same drop as TRD and I'm selling if anyone's interested) as well and was fortunate enough only to bump the underside of my front bumber once (on a drainage dip).  They look good though.  As for looking for 40 series tires for 20's...I'm not sure they'll fit (look at the plate that holds the spring) and I don't even know who makes them in that size.  19" tires in a 40 series (225 or 235) is perfect but cost a lot and most of the tires are like 140 - 200 treadware rating.  Unfortunately if you go with a 40 in 18 or 35 in 19..especially if not lowered, it will make your fender gap look big.

What about a 45's on 19's @ 235 with 1" to 1.5" lowering springs? Anyone see potential problems with that setup on an 07 V6 SE?
