Greetings...

I have recently placed $500.00 down on an ordered 2007 Camry LE V6 with Stability Control/Traction, Body Side Moldings, in Blue Ribbon Metallic.  The dealer quoted me $22,775.00, which seemed like a fair price.

Is my price good?

Also, I have been traveling thru cyberspace researching the Camry and have come up with a lot of dirt about the transmission being questionable.

Is the transmission a problem area that I should be concerned about?

Finally, a lot of the negative people speak about the Ford Fusion being better than the Camry...is there any truth to that, or is it just more sour grapes, due to the Camry being foriegn (sort of) even though it is built in Kentucky.

Thanks for your help in advance!

i think that the transmission problem has been addressed and all cars sold on the market now should be problem free (of that particular gear problem). And if not youd be covered.
price seems fine for a v6 with the stability and all that.
Toyotas aren't quite what they used to be, but i am certain you will like the car.

I have a hard time believing that a Ford would be superior to a Toyota. When I was looking for cars for my kids a couple of years ago my mechanic told me if I was going to buy a used car to buy 1)Toyota or Honda, 2)Mercedes or BMW. He claimed they were the most trustworthy and easiest to repair. I must say, my Camry's have been bulletproof, but I don't race them as some of these young hotshots do! Best of Luck to you!
