v6kamree, i would advise you to get away from sony. they're not as great as they claim to be. i had personal experience with xplod speakers in my altima, with a pioneer 6600 head. they didn't sound as good as others. if you want good sound for under a grand, go with hertz. they're an italian company (seriously, the manuals have italian in the front and english in the back) that makes really nice speakers. after getting my camry i needed to replace my blown speakers so i got hertz dcx 690 speakers in the rear and they sound excellent. they handle 180 watts (peak 300w) and reach down to 45 hz very nicely. i also had arc kar 265's put in the front (includes 6.5" speakers and tweeters) and those are sweet too. the kenwood 4028 gives 200w (4x50w) and easy control over eq, levels, and fade. i also had the installer (car audio innovations) put a aux-in on the unit so i could plug in my ipod. initially i'd had the kca-ip500, but with one line of text on the faceplate it was hard to navigate a 20gb ipod =)

I'm sort of a high end audio guy and i would reccomend vifa or peirless speakers from denmark. The will custom build crossovers for you and everything. in my car i run JVC KDLHX500 cd/mp3/touchscreen vifa 61/2 driver with a 1 platnum tweeter with custom crossovers Boston Acoustics 6x9 in the rear Kicker Solo BAric L7 15" SUB with a custom slot ported box(round ports are garbage) I run an amp i built my self I'm an electronic engineer its a 5 chanel amp that pushs 1800 watts to the sub and 60 watts to the other 4 channels. Car puts out 104db in compitition.
