This SES light keeps coming on, we had the evap purge sensor replaced. Code stayed off for a while now its back on. Does anyone how to fix this or by pass the sensor? I dont want to drop $90 every couple of months.

It may be another problem. What was the original code? Get it scanned again to get the new code.

Purge sensors are rarely bad. Your model year has problems with VSV (vacuum switching valves) at the charcoal canister. Also, there was a defective vacuum hose associated with it. Toyota has corrected the manufacturing defect and updated both parts.

some codes are similar, make sure you don't mistake them for other codes as well. My gen4's Check engine light came on and it read out an evap code, but it was the o2 sensor??... take a second opinion?
