HID Kit questions

I just had my 6000K HID Kit installed on my 07 Camry SE. It looks dope. But the only thing that bothers me is that my fogs and my brights had less light output after the HID installation. I know it has something to do with the xenon bulbs and ballasts demanding more electricity, but I thought HID requires less electricity yet produce more lighting? The lights on my fogs and brights are still sufficient but it was not as bright as before the HID was installed. Any suggestions to get the original light output?

RE: HID Kit questions

Hello, Just make sure u have a real HID Kits installed on your car not the fake blue bulbs people sell as claim to be HID with HID light output. The real Kits will be brighter than your high and fog and will not draw more power than your brights and fog. Unless u wire the kit incorrectly.

This can also be the problem. Maybe u are use to the fogs and brights output, but suddenly u have HID out put and your eyes are adjusting to the HID lights outputs. HID are suppose to be brighter than your stock fogs and brights cause that is what u only need.

I like the camry new style, but hate the drive by wire systems. I have 32000 miles on my and waiting for TSB for better shifting on mine.
