2001 Toyota radio wiring.
Hello all, I'm trying to replace the radio in my car. I bought a cheap $20 radio for Wal-Mart since I just want my radio to be very basic. The wiring rn is my biggest issue. If tried all the recommend harnesses but they don't fit so if resorted to splicing the wires and connecting them straight into the new radio. The problem occurs when all the diagrams say " pink and purple" for the stock wires. My car does not have these wires but in stead has a red wire with a blue line and two green wires I need help!!!https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cam...70f116352a.jpg

Did the old radio have a remote amp?
|
I don't think so. As far as I'm everything is stock.

There should be a large sticker on the old factory radio. Find the radio number and post back.
It might start with numbers 86120 or such followed by 5 letters/numbers. |
