radio display problem
 

I just bought a camry 2007 xle v6,but the radio display went blank and is sometimes showing strange signs.
please advice

Did it ever get too hot from the sun heating the car?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery, then reconnecting it to see if it resets itself and starts working again?

no,but now it suddenly is working again.

Funny, I just bought 2008 Camry XLE V6 a couple weeks ago, and I just picked it up after getting the hail damage fixed (I love Carmax, the fixed little dings that probably weren't even from the storm on their lot, all free!) and when I left I noticed my display was all jacked up too. In my case, it was parked out in the blazing sun for a few hours today (in Texas, mind you), but it was in direct sunlight all last weekend by my apartment, in MUCH hotter temps and it never happened before. Could it have been angle of the sun, if the sun was the problem?

And why would this happen in general? I am trying to avoid going back to the dealer if at all possible, though I will if need be. It's the JBL premium audio without satellite, FYI.

what kind of signs are those???
