Headlight Housing cleaning
 
Hello everyone
Can these housing be taken apart and cleaned? Or is my only option replacing the entire housing?

Yes you will need a heat gun to open the headlight assembly. But you will need a butty tape to reseal it once again. Make sure it well sealed to avoid any moist.

Check internet sights. Some offer decent low cost replacements which make cleaning too much work.

I agree with toyomoho, you can avail some of their services, just make sure to ask a good warranty period.

If you have to clean the inside of the headlight housing, you are having some issues that warrant replacement in my opinion. I get having to get the oxidation off the exterior lens but there shouldn't be a bunch of filth inside unless you have been running with no bulbs installed or the seals were crap to begin with.

You have a point, its should be covered by the warranty.
