2003 transmission flush

Hi all, new to the forum and lots of great info! I am getting ready to change out the fluid, have not decided to do a flush at once by disconnecting a line or to do it through the pan a little at a time. I wouldn't mind seeing the filter/screen and checking it's condition.

A few questions though, another thread mentioned that 03 has three different transmissions that year for the 4 cylinder and the computer generated sticker on the driver side door does not indicate a part # though something unreadable is written in marker. Thoughts?

Also does is the differential separate from the transmission? If so what fluid? The dipstick has something that looks like I T7 or maybe T I7...don't know what that means.

Would the vin # at the dealer get me the correct pan gasket and fluid quanities?

Thanks for all the help!!!

Jeff

Auto trans for 4-cylinder is U241E.
Fluid type:Toyota brand T-IV or equivalent.
Capacity:9.1 quarts including diff which shares same fluid.
Dealer should be able to find all parts based on VIN.

Pan may not use a hard gasket but form-in-place-sealant. An auto parts store should be able to obtain a hard gasket.
