2005 4 cyl spewing antifreeze
 

This morning my 2005 SE 4 cyl began spewing antifreeze from small slots on the top left side of the radiator. Have and now leakage up to now. Do I have to replace the radiator or is there a common fix?

The top and bottom covers of the radiator are plastic. It is fairly common for the top cover to crack then spew out coolant. Determine if the small slots are really cracks in the upper cover.

Or is the fluid coming out the finned area that makes up the bulk of the radiator front and back?

Either way, most owners replace the radiator as aftermarket radiators are low cost.

If it is the plastic cover leaking, there are kits that can patch the plastic but sooner or later new cracks will form thus do not recommend this.
