2005 I4 Trans flush
 

Went to my NAPA store to pick up a trans filter kit for my 05, camry 4 cyl so I could do a trans flush. They couldn't find a kit for the U250E trans. He asked for the vin #. He called a Toyota dealer they work with and had them look to see what transmission I had. They said it was a U250E and the reason NAPA didn't have one listed was because the filter is metal and only requires to be cleaned not replaced. Has anyone else heard of this? Thanks for any info you can provide.

U250E TRANS doesn't use the old style paper filter , it uses a metal ultra fine screen .

yes, also it's getting expensive and hard to do...
