Default 2008 camry, can't get an extra key coded - help?

Greetings
2008 Camry, new-to-me. Car came with one master key that opens all locks, and starts the car. One other master key - operates locks, won't disable Immobilizer. One new key from a locksmith, opens all locks, won't disable Immobilizer.

Both the locksmith and a local dealer have not been able to get the car to synch, using a computer, so a second key can't be programmed (dealer worked on it for ~1 hour, no joy.)

Can the good chip be removed from the good key, and placed somewhere where it will let the other keys be used? If so, where should it be?

I'd really like a second key that will start the car.

Thanks in advance.

If you remove the chip you still only have one chip.

Might inquire to a locksmith or dealer if there is a lost key procedure.

Thanks for the reply

I took it to a local locksmith (a real one), and they could not get their computer to synch up with the car.

Took it to the local stealership, and it was no-go for them, as well.

The car has an aftermarket remote start/alarm, and the Toyota tech thought that that might be the issue.

Oh, well.....First World Problem LOL

Peace
