'95 wagon headlights stay on

Hello everyone,

I have a 1995 Camry wagon (v6-1MZ-FE). The headlights are staying on when the car is turned off and exited. It doesn't happen consistently, but a few times I've come out and found the battery drained and I see I've left the headlight switch On. There are no day running lights. I've looked at the Haynes wiring diagram, but don't see what controls turning the headlights off. Any suggestions on where I should began to tackle this issue?

Thanks,
Dmend

The car has auto off lights? If so the integration relay turns the Headlight Relay off.

The Headlight Relay supplies power to the headlight fuses.

Unfortunately the integration relay system also controls a host of other things. It is a large relay system that uses electrical components (logic circuits, etc).

Inputs for the auto off system are from the drivers light door switch, Gauge and Dome fuses. Might check the door light switch to make sure it is not sticking.

Yes, it has auto-off headlights. I have suspected the door courtesy switch but wasn't sure how it fit into the wiring layout. I think that will be an easy replacement, as a place to start.
Thanks again....
