air cleaner nuts 2010

anyone know what size the nut is for the aircleaner for a 2010 Camry 4 cyl? can i get this at a dealer , or do i have to RIG IT! I lost the one on the back side of the air cleaner cover ! THNX

The dealer should have the nut.

Unless the nut is special a hardware store selling metric fasteners should have something that works. Take the one of the other nuts into the store and match it up.

nut

the nut is connected to the bottom part of the air cleaner housing, it is rounded on 2 sides and squared on 2 sides , and the top bolt is also connected the the upper part of the air cleaner housing, the dealer said i have to buy the air cleaner housing $180 LOL C Clamp LOL or new bolt and nut

The nut was held captive by the bottom part of the housing but fell off?

As a temp fix get a longer bolt, nut and flat washer. Install upper air cleaner housing then the longer bolt and use the washer and nut to tighten the bolt. As the new nut will not fit into the old nut hole, you will need the longer bolt.

A fix would be to find a normal nut then grind it to fit into the hole of the old nut and carefully epoxy glue it in place. Coat the threads with car wax or silicone to prevent the glue from sticking to them.
