Broken rear door handle on 1992 Camry
 

The rear exterior door handle broke on my 1992 Camry. I bought a new aftermarket replacement handle on ebay for $8.80.

I removed the interior door panel and barely was able to get to the two 10mm bolts that hold the handle in place. When I put in the new handle, I was only able to replace one of the two bolts. It seems to me only a young child would have small enough arms to reach the rear bolt and replace it.

Has anyone ever done this? Any suggestions?

Would removing the door lock help?

Not as far as I can tell. It's the back door, so the lock is towards the front of the door, while the handle is at the back. There's no opening big enough to get your hands in there.
