Cracked Air Intake Hose
#1
Cracked Air Intake Hose
1993 Camry LE 4 cyl....
My air intake hose has a crack and I want to replace with a new one.
This hose that fits my model only has a total of 3 holes- one for the throttle body, one for the air filter housing and a 3rd for the plastic box that connects to the bottom of this hose (I don't know the name for this box)..
Ive looked at the junkyard for a good one, but all are old and cracked, so i need to buy new for this replacement.
Problem is that all the new ones for sale online are showing a 4th small hole for a sensor or something. I've checked mine and I only have the 3 main large holes...
So, either mine is missing a sensor or I can't find the right one online for a decent price...I guess I could buy the ones I see online for about $30 and plug that sensor hole with something, but I would rather find the right one...
Why all the tubes showing the extra small hole online?
Thanks
Brian
