I noticed my DOG BONE,(Torque Strut mount?) was cracked, and my mechanic told me to buy OEM, but most auto supply shops, Auto zone, Napa, O'Reilly, etc., do not carry this crucial, OEM dog bone, They only carry oem-spec after market, like Premiere, Duralast, or DEA, etc.
For those of you who had to replace their DOG BONE, with an after-market part, did you experience any issues, or buying an after-market dog bone, was good enough, without buying this $104.00 Toyota Part from dealer.? what after market DOG BONE, would be the best replacement for a genuine Toyota part???

 

Even the original mount fails in time and if replaced with another original, this too will fail over time. The mount might take 20 minutes to replace thus one can buy lots of lower priced units for the cost of one factory part.

But if wanting Toyota brand at a lower price shop Ebay which offers them for 40-50%+ off. Shop by part number as the Lexus ES300 uses the same one.
