Erratic acceleration/deceleration
 
My 1993 Camry erratically accelerates and decelerates when it is stopped even for 10 seconds, such as at a stop light. It then turns off. I have tried replacing several parts with no luck. Please help!!! Thank you.

your post is a little confusing...please state the engine type.. also it idles up at lights?? and dies back down? im tring to make sense of this post sorry

05cam--sorry about that. It is a 2.2 liter engine, 4 cylinder, automatic transmission. When I press the brakes and stops the car, the engine revs up (accelerates) while the car is stopped and then dies down and if I am stopped long enough the engine shuts off. I have changed the idle air control valve but this has not done anything in helping the problem. Thank you in advance.

You probably already fixed this but I would say that its the Brake booster failing
