fix rear view mirror fallout
 

Hello,

The rear view mirror just came out of my camry hybrid 2010, i had tried using the permatex and gorilla glue to fix it back but the one with permatex came out in few days the goriila glue one cam out after 4/5 mnths now that the weather is cold how do i re-fix it back what kind of glue should be using as i read instructions that on rear view mirror fix that it needs temp to be more than 60F

Any idea what kind of glue do the windshield replacement guys use ?

i have tried all the off the shelf products and they failed in time hot and cold

reaching the right temperature to set the glue is critical

ring up your local wind shield replacement guys .... i take my car to them

the cost for them to fix this may not be that much

You'll need to park your car in a place where the temperature is somewhere between 50 and 75 degrees. If it's winter, find a heated garage to work inside. During the summer, pick a nice day, with moderate temperature and humidity. Park in the shade, because if the glass is too hot, the adhesive will set with less strength. Rainy days will leave moisture on the glass.
