front brake pads won't fit into caliper bracket

1993 2.2l Camry, hello i am trying to figure out why my new brake pads will not fit into the caliper bracket on the passenger side only. a year ago i replaced the bracket with a remand one from Napa and used akebono pads and oem pad hardware "different from v6 pad clips" and they were tight on both sides so i filed them down to fit to get by. Today i brought a remand bracket from o'reilly's and got RAYBESTOS EHT562H pads to see if the problem was either the pads or the bracket. Well the driver side pads fit fine. But the passenger is still too tight, i have verified the pads are correct for my model but there must be something wrong with the brackets that i have been sold because this is only happening with remanufactured caliper brackets. The question is has anyone had problem with pads being too tight on your Camry or did they just slide right in without hard resistance because.

Thank You

Different brands of pads should fit into the holder. The shims and springs that came with one brand of pad may not fit or work with another brand of pad..

Determine if the pad only fits the holder and if the shims/springs are causing the binding. .
