Gen7 Camry $25 Backup Camera Install Web Page
There is a lot of conflicting information out there on hooking up a Backup Camera into your Camry Display Screen. I am here to tell you it can be done for $25 and a few hours of your time.
I have put together a web page that takes you step by step through the install process. You can find it at the following location: Backup Camera Hope this helps some of you out there, George |
2013 LE wiring
George,
Your post was amazing and I am excited to install the camera. Do you know if the wiring is the same for the 2013 camry LE? I wonder if the lower trim level has the built in wiring to add the camera. Thanks, John |
Answer To Question
Hi John, glad that you found my posting of interest. I think that by my step by step pictures, you can see it is really easy to do.
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with your 2013 enough to know if the under console jack exists. I suggest you may find the answer on the ToyotaNation forum. There is a bunch of information there under the Gen7 Install Backup Camera listings. I am sure that someone there has a 2013 LE and can give you a quick answer. Good luck on your install, it will go very easy, and you will be saving over $500 on the factory quoted price. After several months, mine is still going strong and working just great. George |
