Good Cheap Aftermarket Catalytic Converter?
03 Camry 2.4 XLE
Does anyone know where I can get a good cheap manifold/cat that actually
FITS without modification? I have purchased 2 on ebay now and neither of them will fit
without welding modifications. I am to the point of cutting the old one open,
removing the broken chunk of catalyst that is clogging it, welding it back up and
putting one of those spark plug anti-foulers on to fool the oxy sensor. This is my
daughters first car and she doesnt have a lot of money to throw at it. what damage
will it do to the engine if I just gutted the cat and ran it that way? Im sorry if this is
the wrong place to post but I couldnt figure where else to post it. Thanks guys!

Why didn't the CAT's fit?
What do you consider to be cheap $$$$$.
Rockauto.com lists a host of CAT's with specifications as to what they fit.
Thought in 2003 there were several models of Camry engine emissions.
You may need to narrow down the CAT to meet your car's emissions build specifications.
Go to a Toyota online Toyota parts dealer. Determine if there is more than one CAT part number offered for that year/engine/etc. If so, fine tune the number based on your cars VIN.
