Hard-wire power cable for GPS in 2009 Camry?

I have a 2009 Camry LE. Just ordered one of these GPS mounts:
RAM Mount Mirror-Mate Base B-Ball RAP-B-369AU, RAP-B-369AU

Basically, you remove the rear-view mirror, slide this mount in place then slide the rear-view mirror over part of this mount.

I'm going to have my Garmin 3790T in there and I'd like to hard-wire a power cable for it. I learned that there's a harness up in the headliner near where the rear-view mirror is since some Camry models come with the rear-view mirror that has temp. and / or compass. This harness has switched power and ground and that's exactly what I need to connect this power cable for my Garmin:
Amazon.com: Garmin Nuvi Hardwire Cable (Mini-USB connector) for Garmin Nuvi: Electronics

Is there an easy way to get to that connector in the headliner? I tried pulling down on the edge of the headliner nearest to the rear-view mirror, but it's really stiff.
