MAF sensor problem??
 

hello,
i have a 2003 camry 4 cylinder and i replaced the starter on it today. in order to do so i had to take off the air filter housing (box). so when i finished and replaced everything, i turned on the car and my check engine light came on. I took it to pep boys and they told it was engine codes po 102 and po 113. having to do w/ the MAF. I just need some advice as what i can do or how i can fix. Also has anyone had this problem b4 as well? I just need some advise on what the codes are and what i can do. I read that i can clean the TB and check the MAF wires for right connection or check if the housing was put right in which it could cause a vacuum leak. :confused:

Both codes indicate the circuits to the MAF and intake air temp sensor are open. The air sensor is located inside the MAF.

The MAF is located on the air cleaner box. Since you took the box cover off to change the filter make sure the electrical plug to the MAF sensor is still connected.

no..i did not change the air filter...could that be the problem

you can check the engine code on obd codes site to be sure on what the problem is.
