New to Camry, looking for advice

Good afternoon all.

Newbie here both to the forum and as a Camry owner, I bought a 2009 LE a few days ago and so far I'm very happy with it. It has 90k miles and is in excellent condition. Despite that I bought the 3/36 warranty as my luck with cars lately has been lacking.

My last car was a heavily modded Civic that was fun to drive and still got over 30mpg, I'm curious if anyone has any add ons I can get to improve the speed/performance of the car without negating the warranty?

Any info is appreciated!

The engine supposedly can make good hp but not without mods that will void the warranty on the engine. Or better stated result in in the warranty not being applied to the engine.

Some owners add a cold air intake but the hp gains are nil.

A CAT back exhaust might help.

If your curious check out Scion as the same engine received factory enhancements. Scion owners tend to modify their engines more.

For driving performance look at better tires. There are better strut/spring combinations, stiffer suspension bushings, larger sway bars, engine cross brace, etc.

The 2009 had a SE sport option with mild factory mods to the suspension, steering, etc. Research 2009 Camry SE.

Toyota has a Toyota Racing Division (TRD) that offers improved parts. Look into parts for the 2009.

Thanks, tires are brand new Michelin so I don't want to do anything there. I was considering an intake but didn't know what kind of improvement I could expect.
