Default New control arm or just new bushings?

I have my wife's 2004 camry front driver side control arm out of the car(yes..lifted engine and tranny..thanks toyota..) question I have is since the arm looks 100% intact and I am dealing with very little money, is buying the control arm, bushings, ball joint the best bet or buy just the bushings and borrow the press from auto zone..my instinct tells me buy the entire control arm package.

Go to Rockauto.com or other online parts sites.

Compare the cost of a complete arm to the cost of parts. The most expensive complete arm listed (all the parts you need are attached) is under $60.

Checkout their bushing selection for costs.

Compare cost by just replacing the bushing to your time spent removing and replacing the arm.

Personally, I would replace the arm. If I was broke, then I would carefully inspect ball joint and other bushing on the old arm before deciding to replace a bushing.

Not also if one side fails so may go the other side.

If you want a second opinion try Toyotanation.com. Lots more members.
