I can't picture the tool - is it like a 15" long, 1/2" drive breaker bar with a "cup" style filter wrench attached to the end.
Thank You

Do you guys believe I am ok using 0W-20 in my '07 V6? I live in Florida and already have some I was going to use in my Charger, but want to change the Camry's oil first.

Thanks.

There is a service bulletin which states 5W-20 can be used in MZ series engines.

Is there a reason you want to use 0W-20?

I have some that I was going to use in my Charger (that's what is called for in Charger), and I want to do the Camry's oil change first and it's going to be awhile before I change oil in Charger.

So I shouldn't or will it be ok in the '07 V6? Thanks.

The service bulletin from Toyota does NOT list 0W-20 as being acceptable to use in the V6. If not listed, it should NOT be used.

Only 5W-20 is listed for use in the V6.

Given Florida's mild temps suggest consulting the owners manual and using the recommend weight for the lowest temperature you car will experience.

These low weight oils such as 0W-20 and 5W-20 are specified to increase fuel MPG slightly to meet EPA requirements.

My own two cents is stick to the owners manual recommendations unless your operating in extreme cold temps outside the temp range specified in the manual.

Ok Joey, I have to agree. I love this car and don't want to take any chances whatsoever, so I will stick with the manual's recommendation. Thanks.

If your manual says to use 5-20 oil, than in 99% of cases, using 0-20 is fine. Zero weight oil, flows better when cold. 0-20 flows better than 5-20 when cold. Both oils behave like 20 weight oil when hot. I have never seen any info from any car maker that discourages 0-20 when 5-20 is spec'd. Mobil 1 ads all say that using 0-20 provides better cold weather starts in all cars that spec 5-20 oil. IF your car is spec'd for 0-20 oil and quite a few are, than DO NOT use 5-20. Last point. If you have a warranty always use spec'd oil and save receipts or you may have issue with any engine related warranty issues.
