power steering fluid leak
Hello,
I have a 2005 Camry that is leaking power steering fluid. A mechanic recently took a look at it and said the power steering hose needs to be replaced. Does anyone know where I can find detailed instructions on how to perform the repair (I saw a youtube video of the operation being performed on a different vehicle, but wanted a Camry specific instruction)? Also, what is a common approach to locate the leak? I want to make sure there isn't a simple solution to the problem. Thanks in advance for any help! -Johnny |
No help on the video. Might ask at the Toyotanation website.
Access to the pump is via the wheel well or under the car. If a PS hose, should be straight forward. |
you can try the vid and see if you can do some necessary changes to the procedure that might help and share it here.
