Default Stuck/Sticky Calipers - 1995 Camry LE 240000

Rebuilt calipers a while back. Now sticky and regret rebuilding. Lifted front of car, disconnected caliper bolts and removed. Pressed pedal. Some pistons moved some did not.

HA, HA

Going to rock auto. Got some ACDelco rebuilt for 2003 suburban and worked well. The cheap ones no way.

Lesson learned I guess. Sometimes the rebuilt stuff seems to be hit or miss.
Did you rebuild them/a shop rebuilt them, or sold as 'rebuilt'?
If you bought them rebuilt, who did you get them from? I'd like to avoid them is all!

I rebuilt it and should have had someone do it for me. Also, should have had a kit with new pistons and the right tools to ream out the piston and pin channels. They were rusty.

The ones I am installing are from Raybestos. I had a hard time buying them together from the same place. Tried Rock Auto but finally found carparts.com. Both distributors.

The funny thing with carparts.com is I bought both 08/05, paid, said it would arrive 08/08. However, did not notice when they said it was coming by email and saw the fed info but did not notice only one caliper displayed. Right there they should have told me out of stock and would you like just the one. Two days later 08/07 and 1 day 08/08 before the part will arrive carparts says OH out of stock FRC10531 (32 is the passenger) and refunded my money. This was the driver's side and the one no one had at least for my aftermarket requirements, I had to buy the other one on amazon which I prefer not since 90 day warranty but rated in excellent condition. I will see how it goes. In fact, the amazon one is the last one they had. There are many out there where you could easily buy but to me no name brand names and just don't trust the part store generic brands. I buy mostly OEM if competitive,

I bought 4 acdelco calipers for my 2003 suburban and worked well. Could not find then in acdelco. Only problem is two of my bolts loosened up on caliper after a few weeks tightened up and so far so good.

I like acdelco and put four calipers on my suburban but could not find acdelco. The rears are easy to find and more expensive for some reason.

The good part is the one I am buying from amazon is from amazon not amazon third party which can get messy, Amazon easier to deal with on problems

Thank you for the update. Smart move with dealing with Amazon and some third party, they can be a real pain if you need to return.
